To provide the necessary facilities (clubs) for the daily care (when applicable), recreation and education of children during out of school hours. This will include open access activities and childcare settings.
To provide an educational service that meets the varying needs of the community, with particular attention to the needs of Ethnic Minority Communities and their integration in the community as a whole.
To provide a secure, safe and positive learning environment, rich in a variety of rewarding and carefully planned self-empowering experiences, so that children learn, play, achieve and have fun, while they also develop community building skills and a sense of belonging.
To reduce anti-social behaviour and thus increase the safety of the local environment. To reduce (when applicable) the dangers that children may face without adequate care.
To advance the education and training of those who provide such education, recreation and care (when applicable), and to assure that they are prepared to achieve the educational goals of the group.
To offer parents opportunities to play an active role in their children’s education in our setting(s).
To offer parents (when applicable) a facility which will provide a reliable, affordable and quality childcare facility, and will enable them to enhance their opportunity to participate more fully in the labour market.
To take a holistic approach to children’s development and all round wellbeing as citizens for the future prosperity of Wales.
